Dear Mr. Schramm;
Since I purchased my new boat with Detroit 671ti engines, I have been studying ways to
Prevent early clogging of my fuel filters and smoking of the engines. Start up was terrible
With excessive smoking and there was always a haze behind the boat when cruising. At the
End of the day my transom had a nasty oily film requiring heavy cleanup. It was really
Nasty. This was the only thing my wife harped about outside the boat. The odor and
Appearance really disturbed her.
Walker Fuel-Seps required more space to install than I had in my engine room. Algae-X
Required excessive plumbing of my fuel lines and I could never understand how it worked.
The rep. I spoke with did not explain the operation as you did.
After we spoke during the Annapolis Boat Show, I walked around thinking about your
Product and how you explained it worked. The cylinder was well made. Instillation
Appeared to be simple. All I had to do was remove the fuel line from the fuel cutoff, add
Two brass reducers to match the pipe diameters and re-install the fuel line. It took two
Hours to install both units, including a trip to the hardware for the reducers. It was an easy
Job for a do-it-your selfer.
I started both engines fully expecting a cloud of smoke. They started to smoke as expected
But in a couple of minutes the smoke reduced by 80% to 90%. I was amazed. Nov. 1st.
Was our first trip. Start-up produced almost no smoke. During the trip there was no black
Haze behind the boat. Two weeks later I had the same results during a fishing trip. I ran to
The fishing grounds much faster than I cruise and still did not get the haze. The clean up
Was simple. The transom had a bit of soot but almost unnoticeable after about 6 hours of
Operation.
You said there would be about 10% fuel savings. This I have not been able to confirm. I
Have good records on this past season and will be able to check fuel consumption this
Season. I will report to you when I have details.
Sincerely:

Don,
I waited to write you on the installation of the two units on my own boat, until after
I returned from a quick trip to Melbourne last week. I had run on several trips with
Some older fuel in the tank after I installed the units and experienced good results. Just
Prior to leaving for the Melbourne trip, I ordered new fuel and changed the primary
Filters. The filters were not that bad but changed them anyway.
After getting to Melbourne, which was about a five-hour trip, I examined my transom
Corners and found no exhaust buildup or haze of any kind. Even though I had changed
Out my injectors about two years ago, I still had a slight gray buildup when taking a run
Of one or more hours. After I returned to Hobe Sound from the return 5 hour run, I again
Examined my transom area and still did not have any haze at all. This is proof enough
To me that these units you have really work fine.
Now, after being able to experience the performance of the Diesel Tex units first hand
On my own boat, I can feel comfortable recommending them to all of my boat
Maintenance clients.
Thanks for the good work and keep me updated on any upgrades and/or
Recommendations you may have in the future.

Gentlemen,
I am writing this letter to fulfill my promise to you to let you know how well the units performed
For me. Well I'll be damned, they work great. I installed 2 units that I purchased from you at the last Miami boat show. The installation was a breeze; it took me about 15 minutes for each unit. I ran the boat for about7 hours and no real change, then I ran the boat on a 6 hour round trip to Newport RI and when I returned, Was amazed. I estimate that the soot on my transom was reduced by about 85 to 90 percent. I also noticed that underway, the diesel cloud that I usually see was reduced dramatically. The installation is on my 1990Searay 42 Sundancer with twin Cat 3208TA engines. If you need to use me as a referral, please feel free.
Very truly yours,

Dear Don:
Successful Installation and Operation of two (2) Diesel - Tex Unit -503
Following your "excellent instructions" we have successfully installed the two Diesel - Tex 503 conditioning units preceding the primary fuel filters that serve each of the two 370 horsepower diesel engines in our powerboat.
As of this date we have run both of these engines approximately 18 hours and have already seen a "significant reduction" in the accumulation of diesel soot on the stem of our boat.
This letter may be used to let others know of your product and encourage their use of it. We plan to keep you posted as we continue to add hours to these engines.
Thank you for your assistance.
Sincerely yours,
Martin Gilchrist
