Mercury Marine 92-8M0222071 High Performance Gear Lube.
Provides the proper corrosion protection and lubrication needs of marine gear cases not found in automotive-based oil. This gearlube provides maximum protection.
Features:
Container: 2-1/2 Gallon Bottle
Oil Weight (Viscosity): SAE90
Water intrusion - advanced emulsifiers prevent foaming to protect gears if water enters gear housing.
Wear - tackifiers and extreme pressure additives improve oil film adhesion and protect against excessive wear.
Recommended for use in all stern drive gear cases and lower units on all outboards
Meets or exceeds the needs of all marine engine manufacturers' gear lube. Using this product will not void manufacturers' warranties
NOTE: DO NOT mix with Mercury Premium Gear Lube
Meets API GL-4
Mercury reccomends the gear lube be changed at least once per year (prior to storage) or every 100 hours of operation. See your owner's manual for specific reccomendations.
